Hello to you all,
I felt it was time to share some thoughts with people with regards to the running of our carpet cleaning business that has been in existence now for 30 years that is quite an achievement to keep a business running though 3 recessions but it is all down to our clients being satisfied enough to keep on returning with their various cleaning requirements and that must also imply that we have done our work well enough to satisfy them for them to come back.
The business has strong family links in that myself Leigh started cleaning carpets and upholstery way back in 1980, my wife Evelyn has been the voice on the end of the phone and looks after the office side, Our son Luke was introduced to the trade in 1995 giving him the benefit of the client base and knowledge we had acquired along the way and our daughter Lucy has also been out there cleaning carpets and upholstery for the past 5 years and our younger son Clarke is now learning the trade.
Luke and Lucy have been progressively building there own client base and what is nice is that many of the clients I worked for years have introduced them to their children so the continuity of the business continues.
The last few years have seen us gradually target the commercial cleaning of carpets and upholstery and we are very fortunate that Thurrock has a large array of various businesses ranging from offices to shops and many restaurants that all need servicing from time to time.
